« L’Odyssée du Schmilblick » is an interdisciplinary piece based on an encounter with neuro-atypical children during musical workshops and sound experiments.
We incorporated visual and sound extracts captured during these workshops with our different mediums (flute and effects, sound structure, painting and overhead projector) to create a piece in several chapters, each of which translates a state of mind felt alongside these children.
This approach, which leaves a lot of room for improvisation and interaction, allows us to talk about these children with disabilities in a different way, by focusing more on their gestures, their emotions and their affects.
